| With the rapid growth of China’s automobile parts industry, especially the faster shift of the over 10,000 parts manufacturers of the three major Japanese automobile manufacturers to Guangdong, Shunde has taken full advantage of its close vicinity to Nansha, Guangzhou - the largest automobile industrial base in South China in the future - to attract the large number of Japanese funded enterprises. An automobile parts industry cluster has come into being with numerous world-famous automotive parts enterprises introduced, such as Toyota Gosei, Aisin Seiki, Tokai Rika, Koyo Lioho, Aisan Industry and Sumitomo. By the end of 2007, 19 automotive parts enterprises had been put into production in Zone A, in particular, the output value of Aisin Seiki and other five Toyota’s primary parts manufacturers exceeded 100 million yuan. |
